Romans 1:17 For Therein Is the Righteousness of God Revealed From Faith to Faith

Romans 1:17 (KJV) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 

The Apostle Paul was not ashamed to preach the gospel. He saw that it was God’s means by which to save a soul – Romans 1:16 (KJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 

The righteousness of God, that is, the way to be right with God, is to believe that Christ came to live a perfect life, and to die to pay the penalty due to us for our sins, then to rise from the dead the third day, conquering death and sin on all who trust in His salvific work.

Quoting the words of the prophet Habakkuk tells us that just man or the righteous man shall live by confidence in God. Amen.
