Psalm 73:26 (KJV) My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. 

When flesh and heart fail, the LORD will not fail. He continues to undergird the psalmist in the deepest recesses of his heart.

He understood the way by which he may abide in the LORD when all else seemed to fall apart. Therein, he finds his strength to persevere.

The LORD is “my portion”, declares the psalmist, the LORD is the Source of life. In Him, there is always hope and a way forward. Amen.
