1 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV) And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 

When God raised Christ from the dead, He triumphed over sin and death. God has also raised the believer by His own power to triumph over death and sin.

Therefore, the believer is exhorted to live a pure and holy life before God. He can choose not to sin, to please the Lord, to give glory to His Name in thanksgiving the the great work of salvation.

May the Lord give His people a great sense of their new life in Christ living worthy of their calling as God’s sanctified ones. Amen.
