2 Corinthians 3:17 (KJV) Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 

When the Lord illuminates and grants understanding to His people to understand His law, they are led to Christ for salvation, to be freed from the bondage of sin.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, holding sway in the hearts of men, there is in the opening of the heart the blessed glory of salvation. There is the example of Lydia in Acts 16:14 (KJV) And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. 

Lydia understood the gospel that the Apostle Paul preached to her and she was led by the Holy Spirit to believe. Pray the Holy Spirit may have free rein in the hearts of those whom His people pray and minister to for His glory. Amen.
