Proverbs 25:13 A Word Fitly Spoken
Proverbs 25:11 (KJV) A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
The word “fitly” is the word that means “wheels”. Well-spoken words, as it were, are on wheels and come forth smoothly as the movements of the wheels carry along that which it is transporting forward.
There is a proper expression for every good thought to carry forward and communicate its intended purpose. The Word of God, spoken by the prophets and apostles sent of God, accomplish the intent to communicate God’s truth. Every word, every sentence, every verse, every chapter and every book are fitly spoken to accomplish God’s divine purpose to counsel, comfort and encourage hearers.
This is likened to an exquisite picture that captures, interest and delights the observer. Amen.
