1 John 1:4 (KJV) And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 

The Apostle John declares the fullness of joy comes when one is in fellowship with the Godhead – 1 John 1:3 (KJV) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 

The Father delights in the Son Jesus Christ and the Son is obedient to the will of the Father. Man made in the image of God marred as a result of sin, is restored to full fellowship with the Father through the Son. Therein is the fullness of joy.

There is forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ which cleanses us of all sin. When our sins are dealt with, we walk in newness of life, therein is the full joy promised to His people. Amen.
