Hebrews 2:18 (KJV) For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. 

God’s people are instructed to come to the Lord Jesus Christ when they are in any temptation for He can help them overcome. Christ Himself suffered being tempted and was victorious!

Therefore, His people are exhorted to come to the Lord for He is able to provide an escape route – 1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 

The encouragement is that the Lord will help His people overcome every temptation when we come to Him and wait upon Him and find deliverance through and from Him. Amen.
