Psalm 118:14 (KJV) The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. 

How is the LORD the Psalmist’s strength and song? Psalm 118:5-6 (KJV) I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. 6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD was his true helper.

He was facing eminent danger. In calling out to the LORD, he was saved. He therefore rejoices in the LORD for His salvation.

Truly, it is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. May His people always resort to come to the LORD. Amen.
