1 John 3:1 (KJV) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 

To be called the sons of God is an utmost privilege that only God the Father can bestow because He so love us, and the ultimate manifestation is given in 1 John 3:2 (KJV) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 

Our Lord Jesus resurrected from the dead and ascended to heaven. The sons of God will possess the glorified body like that of Christ at His resurrection. Unfathomable yet true!

The world may jeer at God’s people, for the hope of the resurrection that we look forward to. Nevertheless, we are not dismayed as God’s people, as we strive to live in godliness by the grace of God now in the light of that future blessed hope. Amen.
