Romans 6:11 (KJV) Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 

Since the believer is counted to be dead indeed unto sin because his sins have been dealt with fully by Jesus Christ. And Christ having made atonement for human sin in His death was victorious over death by His resurrection from the dead.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof is the rightful exhortation. In other words, live in holiness.

Live the resurrection life by the Spirit of holiness. Amen.
