Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 

The assurance of God for His people is that they shall not fear nor be dismayed. The word ‘dismayed’ means ‘bewildered’, to depart be dim, look away to be discouraged and discomfited. Isaiah emphasised “for I am with thee … for I am thy God…”

God’s people can look to Him and He will certainly keep and sustain them – I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

The right hand is the hand of authority and in righteousness will God lead His people. His people will be guided on the righteous path sustained and kept by His power. Amen.
