Romans 3:21-22 The Righteousness of God
Romans 3:21-22 (KJV) But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
How can a man be right with God? In his sinful estate, he is alienated from God. The law of God attest to his sinfulness. And he helplessly drowns in bondage to sin.
In this desperate state, God has sent His Son Jesus Christ to deliver men from the bondage of sin. This phase “the righteousness of God” means the way to be right with God after having been separated from Him as a result of his sin by faith in Jesus Christ.
All who turn from their sin and turn to Jesus Christ, believing that Jesus Christ is the God sent Mediator to bring sinful man back to God by His perfect life in keeping all the law on man’s behalf, His atoning death for man’s sin and His resurrection from the dead three days later shall be saved. Amen.
