Psalm 61:3-4 (KJV)  For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. 

The LORD is the believer’s shelter, his high tower from the enemy of his soul! The psalmist has experienced the LORD’s deliverance when the enemy attacked him and gives praise to Him.

The psalmist knew that it is the LORD who protects Him and he commits himself to follow the LORD by staying with Him in His tabernacle, yielding himself to the LORD’s Word.

The psalmist expressed his trust in the covering power of the LORD defending and keeping him from danger from all quarters. He therefore entrust himself to His care. Amen.
