Psalm 136:23 (KJV)  Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever: 

It is the LORD by His mercy that rescues the sinner from the doldrums of sin and its misery. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

The LORD remembered our low estate, condescended to reach out to His people to save them. What enduring mercy!

Not only does the LORD save, He also delivers His people by His unfailing mercy so that they may be conducted safely to their heavenly home. Amen.
