Psalm 143:10 Teach Me To Do Thy Will

Psalm 143:10 (KJV)  Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

The plea of the psalmist was that he will not depart from God’s will. He pleaded with the LORD, his God to teach him the right way and grant him the grace to obey.

Thy spirit is good, referring to the Holy Spirit and affirms the truth in the hearts of God’s people. He sought to live uprightly, to walk in the will of God.

Quicken me, O LORD, for Thy name’s sake: for Thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble. He will not risk a wrong step and prayed earnestly for the LORD to help him. Amen.
