Deuteronomy 7:6 (KJV)  For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 

God’s people are termed “a holy people” unto the LORD their God. The word “holy means “set apart as sacred”.

God’s people are a chosen people, the word “chosen” means “selected or marked for favour or special privilege” by the LORD.

God’s people are a special unto the LORD. The word “special” means “valued possession or peculiar treasure”.

God’s people worship and serve the LORD as witnesses of His great glory and goodness in their lives. Amen.
