Psalm 141:2 (KJV)  Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. 

The psalmist, at the close of the day, brings before the LORD his prayer. It ascended like incense to heaven as a sweet savour before the LORD.

It was his devotion to the LORD as he reviews his day in thanksgiving and renews his strength. He would lift up his hands as an evening sacrifice, a visual of his prayer ascending to heaven.

But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. Seeking the LORD for His protection from the vicissitudes of life in a day. Amen.
