Matthew 8:18-34 (KJV)
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

The Family of God
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

To bear one another’s burden is to help one another, to care one for another. We are to do so as an injunction from God. We are to do so continually.

Naturally, we care for ourselves. The Lord tells us that the redeemed man cares not only for himself but also looks into the interests of others as his own. This is to fulfil the law of Christ.

Daniel 10 (KJV)
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

Matthew 8:1-17 (KJV)
When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

(1) A Foretaste of Heaven
Psalm 133:1 “A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

The first Blessed Hope Bible-Presbyterian Church Camp was held from 12 to 14 June at Traders Hotel in Puteri Habour, Johor Bahru, located near the Tuas link. There were 50 campers. Thank God for safety granted to all campers throughout the camp. Our camp doctor, Dr. Lynn Yeo, was at hand to attend to campers’ medical needs.

Daniel 9 (KJV)
In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

Every father who is a God-fearer and walks in His ways is blessed of God, as testified in Psalm 128, “1 A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. 2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. 4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. 5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. 6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.”

Matthew 7:13-29 (KJV)
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
